Technology Development Foundation of Türkiye

TTGV was established in 1991 to support the international competitiveness of the private sector by improving its technology development competence, and developing and implementing models. TTGV updates and develops its activities according to the international competition needs faced by the private sector. For this purpose, it verifies its impact by implementing models that are going to create awareness of the system and that have the potential to scale and become widespread with a pioneering identity.

With the vision of #TechnologyDevelopingTürkiye, TTGV discovers its target segments, develops new tools and models for their development, and implements exemplary practices for their widespread use. While doing so, it seeks to create new relationships and collaborations between different parts of systems that are difficult to naturally come together in order to support lasting change. In its 32-year history, TTGV has been presenting examples and models of the best practices in technology management to the markets, enabling practices to be identified, strategies to be developed, and industrial sectors and scientific disciplines to act together. In a world where competition dynamics are constantly and rapidly changing, TTGV monitors and interprets trends as a quarterback, builds and implements new models in which the private sector can transform risks into opportunities, and shares them transparently for their widespread dissemination.

n a world where the issue of climate change is fueling a fundamental paradigm shift, Turkish industry is facing a comprehensive competitiveness threat. Just as the existential competitive threat experienced during the Customs Union during the 1990s necessitated a new structuring in technology development culture and capacity, today, global priorities and commercial requirements necessitate brand-new approaches in technologies. The competitive threat that climate technologies face requires the development and implementation of different models instead of classical supply-driven approaches. TTGV plans to develop first-of-its-kind field projects with high potential for replication and to realize them on a commercial scale together with its stakeholders. It aims to play a leading role in the realization of the projects developed by interpreting the developments in the world together with Turkey’s needs and potential.
